What we are doing.

The Phoenix Eagles are on mission to glorify God and see lives transformed by sharing the message of Jesus Christ through the global environment of soccer. In Medellin, Colombia we will be serving neighborhoods throughout the city and will have the opportunity to play competitive soccer.

We will receive sports ministry training from Austin Shaner, Executive Director of the Orlando Eagles. This time is very beneficial for our team to grow deeper in our relationships with one another, to receive wisdom from a mentor and to sit in the Word before and after we share it with others.

  • HOUSING:

    The team will be staying at Cosdecol’s campus. The campus has 3 fields, bunk-bed style dorms, bathrooms with showers, a dining room and classrooms. This is a gated and guarded campus which guarantees safety during our stay.

  • NEIGHBORHOOD CLINICS:

    We will be visiting some of the neighborhoods Cosdecol serves and will be putting on soccer clinics. This is great opportunity to share the gospel while having a blast with the kids across the city.

  • ACTIVITIES:

    We will have a couple opportunities to be tourists and explore beautiful Colombia. All activities are included in the total trip cost but does not include souvenirs.

  • INSIDE THE CAMPUS:

    Although this will be our home base, you will see many people going in and out as many teams practice and play on the fields. Cosdecol also has an elementary school located inside the club.
